AWI search attempt producing JAVA error

Hello
We are in the processes of testing an upgrade to version 12.2.  If I connect to version 12.2 via the AWI, and try to change, for example, the LOGIN setting of a job in the Attributes tab, we get the following error.

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Any ideas as to what is wrong here ? Its a new instalation, but I cant find any assistance in the 12.2 documentation for this error.

The error comes when communicating to the REST backend that executes the search. You need to add the REST backends certificate to the AWIs truststore. See:
