Hello,

I want to create a Template from an existing project, but the Attribut "Template" is inactive.
I get a hint "Autoschedule is not available on template" (Sorry I want to upload the screen, but it doesen't work)

The Project has no Autoscheduling. I create also tentative schedule and delete it, but without success.
The only special ist a deleted task with actuals.

Can somebody explain, why I can not create a template from this Project?

Thank you very much!

That is the way the template creation goes. See
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/business-management/clarity-project-and-portfolio-management-ppm-on-premise/15-9-2/Using-Classic-Clarity-PPM/project-management/create-projects-teams-and-tasks/create-projects-from-project-templates.html#concept.dita_f6e8de5c41113c619ed1ab5fe5b4b03d883bc244_DesignateProjectsasTemplates

Designate Projects as Templates
To make project creation more efficient, as a project owner, designate a project as a project template. Then, use the template to create new projects. Before designating a project as a project template, verify that the following conditions are true:
  • The project contains no time entries with a value greater than zero.
  • The project is financially closed.
  • The project is not associated with transactions (posted or not).

Follow these steps:

  • Open the project.
  • Complete the following field:
  •
    Template
Specifies using the project as a project template to create other projects.
    Default:
     Cleared
    Required:
     No
    Select the check box.
  • Save the changes.
