Tomcat Upgrade from v7.0 to 9.0 version, etc.

Hello,

Sorry to open a new question on this, but do you have any document or procedure on how I can upgrade to Tomcat 9.0 for UVC console Webstart?  I wsa looking at the Apache site, and it seems quite complicated.  As per my other question, we are upgrading to $U 6.10.81.

Also, can you kindly tell me if there are any new tools in UVC that came out in 6.10.81?

Hello Gerry,
as far as I know, there are no procedures for upgrading Tomcat.
You will just need to save the configuration from current Tomcat 7.x (notably the server.xml) and install a brand new Tomcat 9 using the same old ports / configuration that you had set in server.xml from version 7.
Then, you need to deploy the uvc 6.10.81 which simply consists on putting the uvc.war in the webapps folder and you are good to go.
There are no other tools in UVC that came out in 6.10.81 to my knowledge.
