We're getting ready to launch CA APM as a Service! It will be the same APM you know and love, but with some special enhancements, and configured for use in a consumptive manner where you can pay as you go and spin up environments as needed. We're excited! And we need your help!
We decided not to simply take the current CA APM on-premise product and "saasify" it unchanged; that wouldn't be a good idea. Instead, we've been working on further streamlining the UX to ensure a seamless experience and immediate value. We think we've got it and we're just about ready to share. We're now looking for customers who would like to participate in an early beta of this program to validate before we share it with the world in a few weeks.
CA APM SaaS will not include legacy UI's including CEM (TESS), Workstation, or even WebView. All necessary functionality will be available in Team Center (ATC). For example, an all-new transaction-trace viewer is now planned for direct access within Team Center. Yay! It will also include a sample application and a guided tutorial to ensure immediate value.
We'll be delivering feature updates every couple weeks to the environment, enabling you to consume new stuff more quickly than ever!
