Revitalized Idea Management Process

By CarolPiccus posted 02-17-2017 12:57 PM

Hello Community Members!!

Yes, we heard you loud and clear -- and we LIKE hearing from you. So, we are putting renewed focus on reviewing and updating the Ideas that you share, comment, and vote on. While it will take a few months for us to update the backlog, you will start seeing regular updates on the Ideas you are submitting. Attached you will find a letter outlining our updated process and goals in regards to Idea management for Service Desk Manager (to include CMDB), IT Asset Manager, and Service Catalog. Also attached is a letter regarding our process and goals around Idea management for Business Service Insight.

Please keep the great ideas coming!

2) If you Vote Down on an idea, we would really like to hear your reasons why

Also - don't forget to check out our latest release (and news of Ideas that were approved and implemented:  CA Service Management 17.0 is now available

Hi Daniel,

We do plan to update the Ideas as we deliver new releases and will be looking to make an overall post identifying those Ideas included in the release. In addition to looking for that update when we make a release announcement, you can always go to the Ideas section in the community and filter by stage = "delivered" to see what ideas we have already delivered. Additionally, you have the option to sort by latest activity. However, as we are cleaning up the backlog of ideas, the update dates may not tie to a release date.

Best Regards,

It would be interesting for the CA vendor to regularly disclose the ideas that have been approved and implemented in the products.
This would bring greater transparency and reliability to this innovation process.
