Broadcom is pleased to announce the addition of Renu Motwani as Rally Software product leader. This appointment comes as more teams adopt agile development to keep pace with digital business.

“Renu brings tremendous knowledge and skill to her role,” said Jean-Louis Vignaud, Head of ValueOps, Broadcom. “Her focus on continuous innovation matches our commitment to help our customers empower their teams, prioritize and align work to business objectives, and deliver greater customer value to market, faster.”

Renu is a software industry veteran who has envisioned and led products ranging from infrastructure management to application platforms and device runtimes at companies including Sun Microsystems, Oracle Corporation, Myriad Software and CA Technologies (now Broadcom). Most recently, she was head of product management for AIOps Operational Intelligence at Broadcom. Renu holds a BS in Computer Engineering and an MBA from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She is a frequent speaker at various industry events and loves to connect with new people sharing similar interests and backgrounds.

“A product is only successful if it delivers value to businesses and productivity to users,” said Motwani. “It’s exciting to work on a product like Rally Software that already aligns with those principles, and I’m looking forward to listening to our customers, finding new ways to evolve, and innovate the Rally product to deliver even more value for our customers.”

Enterprise agility is key to a successful digital transformation. Rally provides enterprise agility that offers complete traceability from initial investment decisions to delivery. Broadcom delivers scalable agile management to the largest enterprises with hundreds of global teams to connect work to strategic roadmaps and financial plans, ensuring the right products are being built with effectiveness and efficiency. Once this is assured, delivery leaders can create realistic plans to optimize objectives for capacity, work-in-progress limits, dependencies, and risks – and track efforts throughout the value stream with real-time data and insights.

Renu will work in partnership with long-time Rally engineering leader, Katy Groves. Together, with the broader Rally product team, they will accelerate the development of Rally features and enhancements to support customer needs now and in the future.
