The Agilist’s Guide to Summer 2019

By Bryn Saunders posted Jun 13, 2019 04:56 PM

Summer’s in full swing, which can only mean one thing – conference season. The team here at Rally Software has been busy – including speaking at Agile and Beyond and XP 2019. More importantly, we’re just getting started. Here’s the latest news leading up to this summer’s agile conferences.

Rally Software is back.
If you haven’t heard already, the rumors are true – Rally Software is back. While the name Agile Central won’t switch overnight, you may start to notice some changes, especially in how we show up at conferences and on the web. Rest assured, you’ll see changes in the product and technical documentation as we continue to roll out this exciting name change. In the meantime, we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion regarding our name change.

Moving Mountains at Mile High Agile.
We kicked off summer conference season in our own backyard in Denver, Colorado, USA (Rally was founded in Colorado). Every year, Agile Denver hosts the Mile High Agile conference as a way for local Agile and Lean practitioners to engage with the larger community across the Front Range. This year’s focus was being fierce. That includes being fiercely protective of our teams, and across the organization, as we look to scale agile practices. We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth for a t-shirt, demo, or conversation.

Looking Ahead to Agile 2019.
Our next stop is Agile 2019. And since this is the largest agile conference, we’re pulling out all the stops as a title sponsor. Some things you can expect: an Agility Lounge featuring our in-house agile experts, a larger-than-life booth that highlights our revitalized product name, and most importantly, great conversations and demos of our product. While we won’t spoil the fun of our theme this year, we will tell you this much: Rally On, Chaos Gone.

We hope to see you at future agile conferences. In the meantime, stay tuned for more thought leadership from the best and brightest minds at Rally Software.

Rally on!
