Hi,
I apologize for being late to the discussions but our department somehow missed the May announcements. We are updating our instructions for students to point to Mike Roy's great post. But I'm confused about the use in our teaching labs and for researchers:
1. Depending on what page or post I read, we can use the personal use download/license in our teaching labs or
1a. we have to use a key from the D2L site.
Which is correct? And under the D2L site, we just got one license to use in all of our teaching labs. But I see a link for a form for a bulk lab request. Does that mean we need a license key for each, which gets really expensive and almost impossible to install using a unique key across multiple systems/labs.?
2. If we have a graduate research assistant working on their dissertation doing research - does that count as academic personal use, lab use, or research? What are the dividing lines?
Thank you,
Jonathan
