We use the desktop shortcut to launch Spectrum One-Click Console.  Our current version is 22.2.5.0.36

After initially installing the JRE and Web Start client form the server, then we point the shortcut to that local install which we use to start Spectrum One-Click Console.   I am one of the administrators of the platform and one of the biggest complaints I am getting is that it takes too long to launch Spectrum.   I have timed it myself and it can be up to two minutes or longer before I actually get the login box.

When launching Spectrum, I get this pop-up box along with the brief status pop-up bar that it is downloading Spectrum:

But once this download completes and I get the login box, Spectrum console is logged in fairly quickly and without issue.

Is there any kind of Anti-Virus or Whitelisting exclusion at the desktop level that could be interfering with the Spectrum startup process on the desktop.   This was prevalent on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers.   Or is there something we need to adjust on the desktop client setup to speed this process up?

We want people to use the desktop shortcut, so the workload stays on the user's desktop.   But because of this delay a large number of users are opting to use the "OneClick WebApp" link directly from the One-Click server, which as I understand it, can cause an unnecessary load on the server memory if the memory is not properly sized for all of those clients running directly off the server.

The server is running in a VM environment so the resources for CPU and memory must be allocated (reserved) for the One-Click Console server's use.

Any suggestions, observations, or recommendations are appreciated.

    Thank you ...
