What happened to DNE?

Hi community,

in NSX 2.1 there was a feature called DNE, which supposedly enabled network encryption between guests. This seems to have disappeared. Is the anything else to encrypt traffic between guests (especially if those are on different ESXi)?

The DNE (Distributed Network Encryption) feature was deprecated in NSX-T 2.2.  My recommendation would be to reach out to your VMware Account team, as they can discuss what encryption solutions we offer today and what is roadmap.
