    Hello Community members,
    As part of our Simplify & Automate strategy, the CA 1 Flexible Storage team is pleased to announce the general availability of new PTF LU20204!

    Feature Overview:
    This new release of Vtape Cloud Adapter (VCA) can now immediately delete Virtual Volumes (Vvolser.VVE) from the local USS file system once they are successfully uploaded to the cloud.

    Key Benefits:
    The new automatic deletion of VVE files on USS by the Vtape Cloud Adapter (VCA) offers the following benefits:

    • Efficiency: Eliminates redundant data between the USS and the cloud
    • Performance: VVE cleanup on USS requires substantially less CPU compared to using the SVTSTRRX utility
