Hello, NetMaster Community!
Network Administrators can now use NetMaster to monitor VTAM storage usage for specific (typically NET) resources. When defining Address Space Monitoring (/ASPMON
), you can select from four new monitoring attributes:
-
VtamBuffer - Current VTAM buffer pool count
-
VtamECSA - Current VTAM Extended CSA (KB)
-
VtamCSA24 - Current VTAM amode 24 CSA (KB)
-
HVCommon - Current VTAM 64bit common storage (MB)
With the insight provided by the new attributes, Network Administrators see a more complete picture of their networks, and can better ensure network and system availability.
To enable the new VTAM storage usage attributes, apply PTF LU15832 to NetMaster 13.0. Follow the steps in the HOLDDATA to apply one or more of the attributes to a monitored resource.
