Greetings - I would like to understand how to obtain my paid VMware Workstation product information, downloads, and license keys.  I've logged into the Broadcom portal have no information available to me.

Same with our company Troy.  I have created cases (I think), but I have not heard back as of yet.  I also never received any type of email confirmation for the case creations which was concerning.

Same problem!  Tried to open a case, but that doesn't work...tried support chat, that was useless.  Broadcom is holding our companies hostage by not providing access to products and services we paid for and have been paying for.  This will be the last year we are renewing.  We will not work with a company that has created such a disaster.

Same. I opened a case, called the number, and they told me to contact sales. Wouldn't give me a phone number, and I can't find one anywhere on this site.

Hello - Just went thru this whole process. Once you have access to Broadcom support, go to the drop down on the top right next to your name and select request access. You will need to have your Site ID. If you do not have your Site ID, you will need to call Broadcom and they can find it using the old vmware contract id or order numbers.

I bought VMware Workstation Pro for myself, so I don't have a company name, and they don't even give the option to select Workstation Pro in the the web interface.

I'm in the same situation. Luckily, I was able to download Workstation Pro 17.5.2 for Linux this morning. Log into the Broadcom portal, select VMware Cloud Foundation from the cloud menu (top-right), then select My Downloads (left side), search for "Workstation", click on VMware Workstation Pro, click on the desired product and version, finally click on the HTTPS Download button.

Strangely, only the Workstation Pro v17.0 downloads for Personal Use are available. The non-Personal Use downloads don't work for me, it says I'm not entitled to download them (even though I purchased the software). But since the files appear to be identical (same SHA2 hash), just download the Personal Use versions. I can confirm that upgrading to 17.5.2 from 17.5.1 preserved my existing license.

Hello, what happened to me is that I did not migrate from the vmware connect portal to the broadcom portal within the established period of time and I had a basic support contract until 2025 and now that I registered in the Broadcom Support portal it does not allow me to access to nothing of the license acquired with Vmware, to do this use the email with which I appear in Vmware connect:( removed email), please, what should I do?

Good old William Lam to the rescue. see here there is a workaround

No entitlements needed for these popular VMware downloads on Broadcom Support Portal (BSP) (williamlam.com)

simply create a new account by registering for a free account on the Broadcom Support Portal (BSP). It is a life saver for all of us with perpetual licences for ESXi and no currnet support contract because if you don't have a support contract they will not migrate your account got that straight from tech support yesterday.

"You contacted to know the site ID for the VMware account.

I would like to inform that the contract associated to the VMware account is expired, the license key will not be migrated to the Broadcom portal.

    https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/282163

    Note:
Only license keys that have an active support contract will be brought over to Broadcom systems. After approximately Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. (PDT), if you have license keys associated with expired support contracts, you won't have access to them in the Broadcom systems. If you require continued access to those licenses, please follow the instructions outlined in this knowledge base article to download these keys before 5:00 p.m. (PDT) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Thank God I backed up my licence info a year ago because that instruction and deadline was never sent to us and the knowledge base article on how to do that is a 404 anyway."
