  • 1.  Urgent!! - MQOWP count is too high and keeps increasing and job executions are not being deactivated

    Hello Team,

    We have been experiencing the same issue for the past week: job executions are not being deactivated or removed from the Monitoring GUI, and the MQOWP count has now reached 14,602,464.

    We engaged the DBA team for a solution, but the issue remains unresolved. We believe this may be due to a bug (Current version - 24.4.0)

    Could someone please advise urgently on the next steps?

    Check in client 0 Automation Engine Management / Process and Utilization and sort by Role.
    Make sure you have a WP with the O role.
    If you do not, make a new WP your PWP and see if it reassigns the O role.

    Thanks for getting back to me on my query.

    I checked the roles under Client 0 and can confirm the role exists there.

    Could you please advise whether anything else needs to be checked or any further action is required?

    Hi,

    you are most likely hitting a bug which was fixed with Automation.Engine 24.4.3 (Release date: 2025-12-16). Please open a P1 case with support and you will be supplied with the required SQL statements to clean up MQ1OWP table.

    We have provided the required WP logs from them to analyze it and we are waiting for an update from them to get the required SQL statements to clean up MQ1OWP table

    Thanks for this suggestion!

    The issue has been fixed once we executed the SQL query which had been provided to us as a part of the case that we raised. 

    The current count has now reached to 0

    You can try to upgrade to v 24.4.4. Do not forget about the DB upgrade step, too (which is running those upgrade scripts).
