    Hello valued NetMaster Customers!
To assist your networking team in efficiently identifying and resolving additional connection issues, the NetMaster Development Team has enhanced the Connection Total (CONNTOT) Event Detector.  The CONNTOT event detector now allows for more precision in identifying specific connections. Previously, you could enter only one connection status on the Connection Totals Criteria panel; now, you can enter multiple connection statuses. So, a single event detector can include multiple connection statuses. The Connection Totals Criteria panel also includes a new field, Exit Routine, in which you can specify an NCL procedure to further focus the scope of the event detector. For example, you could define an NCL procedure to exclude connections that match all of the CONNTOT criteria, but are part of development or testing applications. The excluded connections are not included in the total connection count.  The NCL exit routine can also be defined to execute actions such as dropping unwanted connections. Defined actions take place independently of the alerting definition.
