We are excited to share the latest version of Team Build with you, version 1.11.0. This release contains the following features:
- Simplified export for generating scripts in Endevor Bridge for Git workflows (exportz 1.27.0)
Implemented a new CLI flag, `--build-scripts-only`, which simplifies the export by reducing the amount of effort to generate builds within the Bridge for Git context.
The export filters for unique types before generating scripts. The export does not retrieve any elements for an inventory location.
Additionally, `--build-scripts-only` enables the run of change-based builds even when your repository does not include all elements. Instead, the `bridge.json` files are used on the filesystem to determine processor groups and generate the build scripts.
- Enhanced signal handling and cleanup of orphan operations (bldz 1.52.0)
Improved the management and tracking of children PIDs to properly complete termination of operations.
- Ability to wildcard data set and USS mapping (sbomz 1.10.0)
Define mapping rules using wildcards for data sets and USS directories to map production data sets or USS directories at the host to corresponding production data sets or USS directories at the remote site.
Note: A new flag `--mapping-config` is implemented and replaces the deprecated `--dataset-remap-config`.
- New default access for generated SBOMs and ability to set permission mode (sbomz 1.10.0)
The default permission value for the output SBOMs is changed to 644, and you can override the default permission using the `--sbom-output-mode` flag.
- Verification of available space for uploads (syncz 1.24.0)
When a sync or back-sync fails, a check runs to determine space on the remote and prints a clear message for the user.
- Allocation options for PROTSYM rules (bldz 1.52.0)
You can specify space units and primary and secondary sizes.
- Updated version of cobol-ls to v2.5.0 (syncz 1.24.0)
You can continue using cobol-ls for dependency tracking during sync operations.
- `--version` flag added for z/OS versions (syncz 1.24.0 and bldz 1.52.0)
