Stuck on account verification

    My Broadcom account was migrated from VMware and I've been trying to download Workstation Pro for Personal Use but I have been stuck on account verification for over a day now:

    I really don't get why verification is needed to download a free product.

    How long will it take for verification to complete?

    When I bought VMware Workstand Pro and Fusion Pro, the first and last names of the bill were written in Chinese. After migration to Broadcom, they became Garbled characters. I don't know how to modify them. I tried to download Workstation Pro and got stuck on account verification due to the special characters.

    Same problem here. My account was migrated from VMware and since yestareday I am stuck on the infamous "Account verification is Pending. Please try after some time.". What does this "some time" mean? Minutes, hours, days or years?

    I hope to be wrong but this really looks like a bad start with Broadcom.

    I hope this thread gets some more attention. I am also stuck on the account verification is pending, please try again after some time. This is for a free product. In my case, I have been getting this message for over a week now. It doesn’t look like any support staff has commented on this yet, or have I missed it? What should we do to solve this issue?

    Don't worry, my account has been active since at least 2007 (I just checked) and I have the same issue. I guess after 17 years they still aren't quite sure who I am. I'll check back in 2041 then?

    Even my account migrated from VMware does not allow me to download the version for personal use

    "Account verification is Pending" has been the answer for several days

    I hope the migration will be completed soon

    I have exactly same proble, too for a week.

    I even purchased VMware Player 14 and 17 before Broadcom era.

    Same here, account was migrated across form VMware and now when I try a download of VMware Workstand Pro for personal use I get 'Account verification is Pending'...been like it for weeks now....very frustrating. Cant delete this account and create new either, bot was not a great help

    I just called Broadcom support about the “account verification is pending” error that I and apparently many other people have been getting. The person who I spoke with instructed me to post my issue on the Broadcom communities. Wow, wish I had thought of that before. What? So now I’m back here posting again. So Ravi, I don’t believe you have commented on this yet, any thoughts or something I can do other than open a case online? Which by the way, I Can’t do that either because I am still getting the invalid token error. Even if I could post a case, would I even get an email confirmation or a response back?

    I have exactly the same problem - stuck for just over a week now.  Not impressed with the alledged migration from VMware.

    Have tried opening a suport ticket/case with Broadcom Support and will see what happens.

    Got told to use:

    1. Use the Customer Care Webform: https://ca-broadcom.wolkenservicedesk.com/web-form

    Ridiculous when only trying to download a free product for personal use.
