sepm upgrade

will it be okay to upgrade one server of sepm and the other site partner to be on the old version and replication is stopped and the database is shared external instance

Hi Sara, 

I think it's absolutely not recommended to do this. 
Maybe it could work, as long as the database schema is not updated within the update.
The database schema depends on the SEP version, so the older version may not be able to use the higher one. So you may run into connection problems or inconsistency of the database. 

I'm sorry, but I can really not imagine a situation where that scene could be useful.
