Question regarding the need for a parallel operation license

Hi All,

I'm a reseller of Broadcom products. We received a question from an end user regarding API Gateway Enterprise licensing, so please let us know.

"When upgrading, if we run the current server version (10.0) and the new server (11.2.1) in parallel, do we need to purchase licenses for the maximum number of instances during that parallel operation period?"

Just to add, Is it correct to understand that, in principle, no additional licenses are required when running the old and new Gateways in parallel temporarily during a system migration or version upgrade? My understanding is that running both systems in parallel for migration purposes is permitted as a temporary measure, provided it remains within the same processing capacity and license limits.
