Hello, OPS/MVS community! Release 0.10.0 of the OPS/REXX Language Support extension for Visual Studio Code (OPS/REXX LS) is now available.
With this release, you can use OPS/REXX LS to search OPSLOG records while connected to OPS/MVS using the Secure Shell (SSH) Protocol.
All OPS/MVS features that you can access through OPS/REXX LS are now available using either the OPS/MVS REST API or SSH to connect to OPS/MVS. An SSH connection is especially useful in situations where quick setup is the highest priority, such as when individual developers experiment with OPS/REXX LS. For using the extension at an enterprise level, we recommend a REST API connection.
The OPS/REXX Language Support extension is available as a free download from the Visual Studio Marketplace here. For more information about establishing a REST API or SSH connection from OPS/REXX LS to OPS/MVS, see the extension readme, available at the same location.
