Subject: Obsolete Feature – OPS/MVS Web Services
We want to inform you about a change in our product direction that will affect your use of "OPS/MVS Web Services". After careful consideration and due to its being replaced by a superior solution, we will remove "OPS/MVS Web Services" from OPS/MVS, effective December 31, 2026. This feature will be deactivated via PTF at that time and support for the feature will end.
We recommend you migrate to the new OPS/MVS REST API, which is a more modern API service. It not only fully replaces the functionality of OPS/MVS Web Services but is being actively developed and expanded to provide more capability than OPS/MVS Web Services. What Should You Do Next?
- Evaluate Your Current Setup: Assess if you are using OPS/MVS Web Services.
- Migrate to the REST API: Configure your systems to leverage the REST API and make any necessary code changes.
- Remove OPS/MVS Web Services Components. Clean up any remaining infrastructure.
