Now Available: Full Support for Websphere Liberty and Open Liberty as Application Servers

The Gen team is excited to announce full support of WebSphere Liberty and Open Liberty as Application Servers for deployed Gen Web applications.

This functionality extends our support for EJBRMI cooperative flows using the EJB's remote interfaces on servers using JRE versions 8, 11, 17, and 21 from IBM, OpenJDK, and Oracle, and builds on functionality previously released as communicated on the Gen EDGE community: https://community.broadcom.com/discussion/now-available-support-for-liberty-phase-1

Support for Liberty phase two requires one or more of the following PTFs which can be found at the Gen 8.6 Solution & Patches (Distributed) page or by using the individual PTF links below:
