Large-scale data migrations can be time-consuming. We have introduced this capability to help you significantly accelerate your data conversion and storage migration projects.
The SARPAC tape consolidation utility now supports multiple concurrent executions per View database. This enhancement removes the previous single-task limitation, allowing you to run multiple consolidation jobs in parallel to reduce processing timelines. Please note that this capacity is limited by the number of virtual tape drives you have available.
This feature is available with PTF LU20757. To get started, please refer to the updated product documentation for configuration requirements, including how to define unique tape selection criteria to optimize performance and prevent overlap.
