Is there any mechanism to move an entire NSX-T environment from one environment to another?  We are migrating off vXRail to vSAN ready nodes.  Really hate to build all new NSX-T environments, tagging, segments, revise code, etc.     Is there any alternative?  Being VXRail I don't think we can just bring in the new hosts into a new cluster, etc.  Perhaps the question is how to uninstall vXrail manager and it's tie in without impact. I'm guessing that's messy.

Move not, but you could build out the new VSAN ready node based environment, including ESX hosts and vCenter, and then add that new vCenter to the existing NSX manager as a Compute Manager.  Then prepare the new ESX hosts and add them to the same overlay transport zone.  All segments, gateways, firewall rule sets/groups and other objects will then also 'exist' in the new environment.  If the VMs are all on overlays and you use ELM to connect the vCenters, a vMotion to the same network should not be a problem.  But whether Dell will support that is another question.

+1 on what Yves wrote. Maybe a new VC is not even needed.

NSX is (usually) pretty simple to extend. Not aware if VxRail Manager causes any trouble here (unless its VCF, then there´d be a problem). Best is to ask Dell what they do recommend or do not support.
