Mega raid software not installing or running correctly

[Zoctar No]

setup:
windows 10 pro 64bit fully patched
ram 32GB
CPU: high-end, brandnew i5

Issue: when installing megaraid it pops up this error then continues saying install finished:

then if i try and launch it from the icon on the desktop i get this:

I did have to set the java home environment variable to get past the cant find bin/javaw error

any help would save me a lot of pain
