You'd have to evaluate the size of the system, number of alarms and alarm occurrences to understand if existing OC server could handle the load.
I would install a dedicated OC Server just for the purpose of the Kafka integration. The deployment actually supports 2 OC for HA for Kafka integration.

Subject: Integration of Spectrum 24.3.13 with ServiceNow and Kafka for alarm forwarding
Hello, Mohammed
Thank you very much for the reply. One more question: does sending alarms to independent systems affect the performance of the Spectrum OneClick web server?Regards,

Subject: Integration of Spectrum 24.3.13 with ServiceNow and Kafka for alarm forwarding
Hi Eduardo,
Spectrum's ability to publish to Kafka is described is a separate pathway for integration with "NetOps Portal, and third-party systems." The integration for sending alarms from DX NetOps Spectrum to ServiceNow is typically managed through the DX NetOps Portal (Performance Management) or via a direct ServiceNow Gateway (Service Desk Connector)
This means you should be able to have alarms flowing to NetOps Portal for ServiceNow and simultaneously publishing to Kafka for other consumers without conflict as per:
TechDocs : DX NetOps Spectrum 24.3 : Configure Spectrum to Publish the Alarms to Kafka
