  • 1.  Inspection View shows the wrong Timestamp. Not showing the delay given in VSI

    Posted May 05, 2026 01:49 PM

    Hi Team,

I am using Devtest 10.8.3.1 version. In Portal inspection view, Timestamp is not displaying based on the delay given in VSI.

I have given 10 sec delay for the response but in inspection view, no delay considered and shown the timestamp with out delay time.

Could you please suggest on why timestamp is wrong.

    Thank you

    Rajasekhar

    Hi Rajasekhar,

Did you see the delayed response? If so, please share the screenshot of the Inspection view for all the steps.

    Regards,

    Prema

    Dear Rajesekhar,

Your observation regarding the Inspection view timestamps is correct. The
timestamps do not reflect the Think Time or DelayTime in the Virtual
Service response because delayed responses are managed as separate threads
to optimize performance. As a result, events from the Respond Step do not
    follow the synthetic delay.

If you require the timestamp to strictly adhere to the synthetic delay,
please open a support case. We will then investigate the most effective way
    to address this requirement.
