implement tsl/ssl

We are trying to implement SSL for all the service management components at a customer. The techdocs documentation has very little technical detail as how to do this. Is there anyone who has managed to implement SSL, who can share how they did it? We are not exposing the products on the internet, only within the company domain, so we need to see how to generate local certificates, and then where/how to install them.

I would start with:

You will need to use the tool to generate a CSR, or if you want self signed you can do that as well.

I would also recommend to use the latest RU, or at least RU4, since we did some changes to SSL Configurator to improve the RU install experience.
