Is there anything you've been able to do to update to Workstation 17.5.2?
Since Broadcom bought Vmware, I can no longer update the software since they updated the certificate (I am not alone... https://www.reddit.com/r/vmware/comments/1d372qb/a_certificate_error_occurred_while_connecting_to/).
My account and license did not get transfered to Broadcom, I cannot download the latest version from Broadcom, I can only download 17.5.1, and since Broadcom acquiered Vmware, they gently claim to have fix many vulnerabilities for which we need to update: https://support.broadcom.com/web/ecx/support-content-notification/-/external/content/SecurityAdvisories/VMSA-2024-0010--VMware-Workstation-and-Fusion-updates-address-multiple-security-vulnerabilities--CVE-2024-22267--CVE-2024-22268--CVE-2024-22269--CVE-2024-22270-/24280
Isn't that just a "hey, we're Broadcom guys, buy a new license please?"
What a shame. VmWare was great, but I have no other solution to move on.
Would appreciate to know if you found a way to solve that.
