How to check for existing SNMP Engine ID discovered for SNMP polling

  • 1.  How to check for existing SNMP Engine ID discovered for SNMP polling

    Hi All,

    Knowing the fact DX UIM cannot discover and monitor devices with the same SNMP Engine ID.
    Referring to SNMP poll here, not SNMP trap - Using OC > Discovery Wizard > Query Discovery server in SNMPCollector.

    1. How to check what is the existing list of SNMP Engine ID.

    2. Does SNMP Engine ID need to unique at discover_agent level, or UIM domain level?

     During discovery, the discovery_agent log does not detect duplicate engine ID of existing discovered device if it is not in the current discovery scope.
