  • 1.  Guide for SAAS for DUAS (or similar)

    Looking to expand automation into the cloud and see there is a SAAS for DUAS (well it sounds like that). 

    Is there a basic guide of what this is and how to set up?  Its about automating things in the cloud and control.

    I think there is no SAAS for DUAS at the moment. I can get more information later though if any.

    Ensure your Dollar Universe environment has the Web Services Manager installed. This allows DUAS to trigger and control cloud-native tasks (like Lambda functions or Azure logic apps).

    If your goal is "control and visibility" across the cloud, you connect your UVMS (Univiewer Management Server) to AAI. AAI acts as the SaaS layer that "reads" your Dollar Universe data to provide advanced automation insights.

    You can install Dollar Universe Application Servers (DUAS) directly on cloud VMs (EC2, Azure VM).

    • Note: If installing in a cloud cluster (like a Linux Azure Cluster), be aware of specific networking configurations.

    Hello @Saicharan Palagiri @Angus Reid,

    Sai is correct in saying that Dollar Universe does not currently propose a SaaS option. 

    The Manager for Web Services, Triggers, Dollar Universe Web Services Enablement (DUWS), as well as the DevOps toolkit can allow for integration of Dollar Universe in a cloud environment. As Sai mentioned, Dollar Universe can be installed on cloud VMs. It can also be installed as Docker containers:

    However, Dollar Universe does NOT integrate with AAI (Automation Analytics and Intelligence), though other Broadcom (and even non-Broadcom) schedulers do. This might be something that is added in the future, but it is not in the current public roadmap.
