    The Symantec Advanced Authentication Team is pleased to announce the release of Symantec Advanced Authentication 9.1.5.2 is now available.

    Symantec Advanced Authentication 9.1.5.2 includes:

    1. Enhances administrative efficiency with Password Reset Tool: A secure standalone tool enabling authorized personnel to reset administrator passwords quickly and safely, using the same hashing standards as AdminUI for full compatibility and consistent protection.
    2. Improved Password Governance with Cross Profile Password History Validation: Prevents password reuse across all user profiles, strengthening security posture and supporting compliance requirements.
    3. Strengthens security with Host Header Validation Security: Protects the Admin Console against Host Header Injection attacks by validating requests against a trusted ****, blocking malicious traffic before processing.
    4. Enhanced Cryptographic Security: Support for OpenSSL 3.x has been introduced to strengthen cryptographic security, improve interoperability, and ensure compliance with modern security standards.
    5. Expanded Platform and Library Support: Adds certification and support for the following platforms:
      a. Windows Server 2025
      b. RHEL 9.x
      c. Oracle WebLogic 14.1.2 with Oracle JDK 17
      d. Microsoft SQL Server 2025
      e. IBM WebSphere 9.0.5.21
      f. JBoss EAP 8.0 and 8.1
      g. Client packages and mobile apps certified on iOS 26 and Android 16
    6. Updated third-party libraries: Multiple third-party libraries have been updated to address potential security vulnerabilities and maintain a strong security baseline. 
    7. Consolidated Issue Fixes: This release also includes fixes for issues identified since the previous version, contributing to improved stability and performance.
