Subject: General Availability Announcement for Clarity OData Service for On-Premise Customers
On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance Clarity's Business Intelligence capabilities, we are pleased to announce the general availability of the Clarity OData Service for On-Premise customers.
Clarity customers provisioned in SaaS infrastructure have had the ability to access Clarity's data warehouse and develop analytics dashboards and reports using REST (OData) endpoints. With the release of Clarity 16.4.0, Clarity On-Premise customers, using PostgreSQL or Oracle, will now have the ability to connect to their data warehouse using REST (OData) endpoints.
Capabilities supported with Clarity OData Service:
- Ability to connect to Clarity's data warehouse using OData Rest API.
- Ability to access data warehouse using OData V2 and V4 URLs.
- Requires access right: Data Warehouse OData Service - Navigate
- Users can authenticate using basic authentication (Username and Password as configured in Clarity), or user generated API key.
- Using the OData endpoint, users can retrieve data that they are authorized to view in Clarity.
- Clarity OData Service supports PostgreSQL or Oracle as its transactional and data warehouse database.
- Clarity OData Service support for MS SQL Server is targeted for a future Clarity release
- Windows installer is targeted for future Clarity release.
- Requires Clarity 16.4.0 or higher.
On-Premises customers can download your copy of Clarity OData Service online at Broadcom Support where you can also utilize Broadcom's case management system.
