GA Announcement: VS Code Code4z IDMS COBOL Extension - Support for IDMS Logical Record Copybook now available

Dear IDMS Customers and Partners,

 

We are excited to announce support for IDMS Logical Record Copybooks in the VS Code Code4z IDMS COBOL Extension

 

PTF Enhancement Description (PTF: LU18954):

• The COBOL precompiler's existing capability to create a tar file containing a generated copybook for each COPY IDMS statement (i.e., record, file, map, and module) has been enhanced. This update specifically adds support for the creation of copybooks for IDMS Logical Record entities.
