external job dependencies

Looking for the easiest way to set up CICS regions as an external requirement to automatically post off of a job or two. I was assuming that it would be setup like any other requirement in the DB.3.2 screen, but there is nothing there to state that it is an external job and gives an error of the PRED job does not exist when setting up this way. Would there be anyone that has set this up in the past?

Hi Lennie. One way is to have your Automated Operations area DEMAND a dummy job onto CA7 via CA OPS/MVS once the CICS region has opened/closed. And then add this dummy job as a requirement etc.
