    Hi all,

    I am very happy to announce that a new feature: Text Search was published yesterday for Endevor V19.0.

    Big THANK YOU to the whole Endevor team for all the hard work and also to our validation partners for helping us to be able to deliver functionality bringing full-text search to Endevor!

    Available now with this PTF
    • Search in text, history, changes and summary for elements and component lists
    • Available for Quick Edit, CSV Utility and Endevor API
    • Works with repetitive search or filtering options like EONLY
    • Provides flexible settings for interrupting long running searches

    Coming soon
    • REST API text search support is in a testing stage and will be released soon as a separate PTF

    Coming later
    • Search in listings
    • Search specifically in Input or Output components
    • ISPF Batch
    • Batch support for listing all lines where the searched text is found

    Delivery
    The feature is delivered DISABLED and is available only for Endevor V19.0, as per our Continuous Delivery model.

    I am very happy to announce that our recently released feature: Text Search is now available also via Endevor REST API and Zowe CLI plug-in for Endevor V19.0.  A big THANK YOU to the whole Endevor team!

    Available now:

    • Fulltext search in text, history, changes and summary for elements and component lists
    • Flexible search settings to comfortable limit the number of search results
    • Quick Edit, CSV Utility, Endevor API, REST API and Zowe CLI

    Coming later:

    • Search in listings
    • Search in NoSource element
    • Search specifically in Input or Output components
    • ISPF Batch
    • Batch support for listing all lines where the searched text is found

    Delivery:

    The feature is delivered ENABLED and requires previously released backend Text Search PTFs LU09555 and LU09556 to be installed.
