  • 1.  DB2 SQL requests from within an IDMS-DC program

    Hi,

    We have a client that need to issue SQL requests from and IDMS-DC program running as an online IDMS transaction.  We would like to know if anyone is currently runing IDMS-DC tasks which issue SQL requests through the DB2 CAF or RRSAF facilities, or via some other interface or 3rd party product.

    Can you explain what this program does and where it fits into an online thread?  Is it a Mainline program with a screen or is it called module?  Is the IDMS database in relational format?
