We want to inform you about a change in our product direction that may affect your use of Compliance Information Analysis (CIA) r4 feature. After careful consideration, due to challenges in supporting this now older version of CIA, we are making this version of CIA obsolete and will no longer provide support for CIA r4 feature effective May 1, 2026.
The CIA feature remains available in CIA r6 and is fully supported. CIA r6 is available from the Mainframe Security Insights Platform package that is downloadable from the following Broadcom products:
- ACF2™
- Top Secret® for z/OS
- ACF2 Option for Db2
- Top Secret Option for Db2
- Advanced Authentication Mainframe
- Auditor for z/OS
- Cleanup for RACF
- Cleanup for ACF2
- Cleanup for Top Secret
- Compliance Event Manager
- Trusted Access Manager for Z
Please note that while CIA r4 and r6 features are both supported in Release 16 of ACF2 and Top Secret, these are the final releases that will support the CIA r4 feature. Future releases of ACF2 and Top Secret will provide support for CIA r6 feature only.
We encourage customers to migrate to CIA r6 feature.
