What is new
Milestone Delivery Confidence will become generally available on July 8.
It helps you understand whether the work assigned to a milestone is likely to be completed by its target date. The forecast uses Monte Carlo simulation and teams' historical throughput to provide:
- Overall delivery confidence for the milestone
- Delivery confidence information for each contributing project or team
- Visibility into where delivery confidence may need attention
Why it is important
As AI enables teams to deliver and adjust work faster, delivery plans need to be reassessed more frequently. Milestone Delivery Confidence provides current, data-driven insight into whether delivery remains on track.
This helps you identify risks earlier, review milestone scope and priorities, and have more informed conversations with contributing teams before delivery is affected.
