    LU18168 introduces a new requirement affecting IDMS CV startup. For system stability and integrity, the IDMS software library (CAGJLOAD) must be authorized, if not already authorized through STEPLIB. Authorization is also required for any libraries containing customized IDMS load modules, DMCL, and database name table load modules.

    Note: Failure to authorize these libraries will result in a U3993 abend during CV startup. The JOB LOG message DC016113 will specify the module and library that caused the U3993
