  • 1.  cannot download my licensed wmware workstation software

    I have been alerted there is an update to VMware 17.5.2 but I am not entitled to download neither can find the download page on the new portal.
    What is happening?
    I earn my money using this software.
    Why am I not able to receive my licensed support?

    I'm in the same boat.  I cannot download anything, even the newly "free" workstation releases because the profile information that was imported from VMware violates some database constraint of Broadcom's, but it's read-only so I can't even fix it.  I have opened multiple cases with support and no one has gotten back to me in weeks.

    I am really loathing this acquisition.

    Where the heck do I download 17.5.2?  I already converted my account.  This is smelling like a bait and switch.  Broadcom is going to try to squeeze more dollars out of us for an update we are entitled to.

    Same situation, I need to download my product and there's still nothing in my profile, none of my paid licenses. No site ID, which as an individual never existed anyway.

    From the outside it looks like they put the 6 month bootcamp graduate interns in charge of the move. Transitions like this require experienced developers who understand the underlying systems and how they interact. Very frustrating. And 0 communication - the last I heard was they were going to do a 'big weekend push'... 3 weekends ago. None of my tickets have any responses.
