    Hi, 

    Reviewed the PPT in SYS1.PARMLIB(SCHED00) for CA7 configuration revision, we found the following entries in PARMLIB. 


    /*   UCC7 - ICOM                                                 */
     PPT PGMNAME(SASSICOM)  /* PROGRAM NAME                          */
         PASS               /* SECURITY PROTECTION EFFECT (DEFAULT)  */
         SPREF              /* PREFERRED STORAGE REQUIRED            */
         LPREF              /* PREFERRED STORAGE REQUIRED            */
                                                                       
    /*   UCC7                                                        */
     PPT PGMNAME(UCC7)      /* PROGRAM NAME                          */
         PASS               /* SECURITY PROTECTION EFFECT (DEFAULT)  */

    Please advise that the above entries should be included in PARMLIB for CA7, I could not find any documents related to the PARMLIB customization of CA7 installation guide.  Thanks.

    Hi Abby,

    UCC7 and SASSICOM entries are not needed and can be removed from the PPT.

    This has been obsolete for over 30 years and has been been removed from the documentation.

    Hi Abby,

          No those updates to SCHED00 are not required for CA-7. They may have been required by a much earlier release, but I do not recall this requirement, so it must be fairly old. I've been around here since 1988.
