    The Brightside team is pleased to announce the release of Brightside v4.0.15.

    This release includes:

    • Db2 Plug-in for Zowe CLI fix
    • DBM for Db2 Plug-in for Zowe CLI fixes
    • Endevor Plug-in for Zowe CLI fixes
    • Imperative CLI Framework fixes
    • MAT Analyze Plug-in for Zowe CLI enhancement
    • z/OS FTP Plug-in for Zowe CLI fix
    • Zowe 2.16 updates
      • Zowe CLI fixes
      • Zowe CLI Imperative Framework fixes

    Additionally, starting with the Zowe v2.16 release/Brightside v4.0.15, Zowe-related documentation will be relocated in the Tech Docs Portal.     DB2 Plug-in for Zowe CLI

    • Updated dependencies for technical currency.

    DBM DB2 Plug-in for Zowe CLI

    • Updated to not require –source-db2 and –target-db2 parameters if specified in the DBM-Db2 Options Profile.

    Endevor Plug-in for Zowe CLI

    • Updated to send the User-Agent header to Endevor Web Services to support user agent logging and SCRT+FRS feature registration.

    • Fixed package not loading properly when used from inside another node.js package.

    • Fixed null pointer exception when retrieving package SCL in REST API v1 compatibility mode.

    MAT Analyze Plug-in for Zowe CLI

    • The MAT Analyze plug-in for Zowe CLI is enhanced to obtain the IMS, IDMS, and TranView related measurement. This enhancement is conformant with the Zowe API Mediation Layer V1 and V2. For more information about the new IMS, IDMS, and TranView related Zowe CLI commands, see the plug-in's NPM Documentation.

    z/OS FTP Plug-in for Zowe CLI

    • Fixed error when listing spool for active jobs to. Now prints a warning that says that no spool files are available. [#156]

    Zowe CLI

    • Added a prompt for user ID/password on SSH commands when a token is stored in configuration. [#2081]
    • Fixed default base profile missing in configuration generated by the zowe config auto-init command.

    • Fixed error in the zos-files list all-members command that could occur when members contain control characters in the name. [#2104]

    • Updated dependencies of the daemon client for technical currency.

    • Resolved technical currency by updating tar and markdown-it dependencies.

    Imperative CLI Framework

    • Fixed race condition in config convert-profiles command that may fail to delete secure values for old profiles.

    • Fixed issue where the ProfileInfo.addProfileTypeToSchema function did not update the global schema if a project-level configuration was detected.

    • Restored the previous precedence of token over password in AbstractRestClient.

    • Updated debugging output for technical currency.
