We are proud to announce the general availability of Bridge for Git Explorer version 0.5.0. This release includes the following features:
-
Pre-push hook configuration
Bridge for Git mappings include a pre-push hook that validates local changes for proper name, type, location, and fingerprint against change sets in the git server and Endevor. Bridge for Git Explorer now prompts the users about the pre-push hook and configures it for them, if they so choose.
-
Ability to view full details of mapping activity
Developers can now view the full details for the operations occurring in their mapping. The full details include such information as Endevor error reports as well as general directions to take in the case of errors.
-
Specify processor group for newly added elements
When a developer adds a new element to their mapping, they can specify a processor group (from those available for the particular element type) for the element.
The release is available from the Visual Studio Code Marketplace here. If you have any issues obtaining the extension, please reach out to me. We very much hope you enjoy the new features of Bridge for Git Explorer version 0.5.0!
