    Posted 26 days ago

    Hi Team,

I created users in LDAP and attempted to import all contacts into CA Service Desk Manager (SDM). I am able to perform the pdm_ldap_sync command successfully but face issues specifically with the import During this process, I am encountering the following issue:

    Problem:

    • Unable to perform LDAP import with CA Service Desk Manager (SDM).
    • Command: pdm_ldap_import -n "example.com" -l "userid = '%'" results in the error: pdm_ldap_import: Method got_record in Ldap_Catcher failed (LDAP agent not found)

    Error Log Details:

    • Error Message: pdm_ldap_import: Method got_record in Ldap_Catcher failed (LDAP agent not found)

    Steps Taken:

    1. Verified LDAP Server:

      • Connection tests (ping, telnet) indicate issues with connectivity to port 389.
      • LDAP server is running and configured correctly.
    2. Network Checks:

      • Ensured no firewall rules are blocking the connection.
    3. CA SDM Configuration:

      • Verified LDAP configuration in CA SDM.
      • pdm_ldap_sync -u works but pdm_ldap_import does not.
    4. Verifed the Connection with SDM using pdm_ldap_test

Request: I would appreciate any assistance or insights into resolving this LDAP import issue. If additional information is needed, please let me know.

    Thank you for your support.
