    Hello Community,

I'm curious if anyone is still making use of CA Output Management Web Services.

    • This was originally released in the mid-2000s as Unicenter Output Management Web Services r1

    • It provided SOAP-based APIs (Report List, Report Data, Index List, Ping) to integrate report data from CA View, Deliver/Dispatch, and Bundl with portals, dashboards, and other applications.

    • It was designed to give customers a standards-based way (HTTP/SOAP/WSDL/XML) to programmatically access their report repositories without relying on 3270 or proprietary tools.

    For context:

    • CA Bundl is end-of-life.

    • CA Dispatch is stabilized (no new features, only maintenance).

    • OM Web Viewer r14 requires OM View r14 - this pairing unlocks the REST APIs that provide the modern, supported path forward for integration (along with Zowe CLI plugins).

    My question:

    • Are you or your teams still running the older SOAP-based Web Services?

    • If yes, what use cases are you supporting with it?

    • Would you be interested in guidance or examples for moving those use cases to Web Viewer r14 REST APIs?

Looking forward to hearing your experiences! Email me directly at ed.blazejewski@broadcom.com

    Regards,

    Ed Blazejewski
