IDM Recover the Password integrated with VIP (Validation ID Protection).

Hello Community,

 

There is a way to integrate the Recover the Password with a One-Time Password functionality associated with VIP (Validation ID Protection). The idea is to use the code generated by the VIP Access app or the PUSH functionality as OTP.

 

Natively we have done it through API's but it is always IGA who generates the OTP; for this scenario the client wants to use natively symantec's VIP (Validation ID Protection).

 

Any idea?

Can you please confirm the overall approach - are you trying to use Symantec VIP (SaaS) as 2nd FA for logging into IM? or is it for another purpose?
