Gold Standards

Has anyone used this feature in 9.0 or higher. We're working on them for our organizaion and I would like to talk to another person that has already put them in place.

I have attempted to use them, but have not had any luck.  I have resorted to modifying the existing standards manually.  I am using 9.0.1.

The Gold Standards in 9.0.1 doesn't work as designed. Faced several issues and no resolution yet from tech support. I think investing time on working with the standards manually will make more sense.

By the way, Gold Standards feature is discontinued in 10.0.

I saw that it was removed in version 10 , and am planning an upgrade next week. I was glad to see a patch for version 10 to clear out any first run bugs from the release.

I did some of the same things that Neil did with resorting to modification of a existing standard. I even pulled a baseline report touse that data to build , adjust an existing standard but it didn' seem as clean as the other packages you can build in the standards...which I hope is resolved a bit with the baseline features in 10.

I won't miss that they took it out of 9. I'm in the midst of a project to create our own standards / bselines for similiar assets to montior their configuration. I'd rather not spend time on doing something just to upgrade and re-do it
