    Hi,

We are trying to integrate this extension with Introscope9.1 to monitor our Oracle 11g databases. The guide says it only supports Oracle 9i and 10g.
How can we monitor Oracle 11g?

Do we need to install agent in our database server before integrating with the extension?

Thanks a lot for the response.

The agent is a modified version of EPAgent and can be installed anywhere on your network, as long as it can query the database. Modify the agent profile so that it talks directly to your standalone EM or a collector EM. EPAgents cannot connect to a MOM to be load balanced.

Modify your agent properties file to identify your Oracle instances to be monitored.

You will then setup a Oracle user which will allow the agent to query the database. You will need your DBA to run the SQL script that comes with the agent.

Install the Management Modules on your EM; you ca find the files under <EM_HOME>/examples
