  • 1.  Custom CSS Select Options in Catalog Does not Work on USS

    Hi guys,

I'm making some modifications to a select field so that it gets shorter in order to improve usage by following the topic:

How do you apply CSS to Select Options?

I applied the modifications to the formdesigner.css file and inserted the CSS class into the select of each offer and the size of the dropdowns were applied correctly.

However when accessing the same offers by USS, the dropdowns do not seem to be obeying the CSS classes inserted in the Catalog.

Is there anything I need to do on USS for these changes to take effect?

    Catalog:

    USS:

    Many thanks!!

I see you're running Service Catalog 14.1 there - what patch level are you on? There were some fixes in 14.1.02 and then again in 14.1.04 for this area.

    Good Afternoon Diego.

    Please check this folder C:\Program Files\CA\Service Catalog\filestore\themes\common\css
Where this file exists: request.widget.css and some other 'widget' files too.
Possibly, you need to change these files too and this can help you further?

    Thanks and kind regards, Louis.

Many thanks for your great help, Louis_van_Amelsfort!!

I changed the files status.widget.css, request-list-widget.css and request.widget.css and the modifications were displayed correctly in both the catalog and uss.

    Thanks again!!
